It keeps your bookings, your travel documents, and your spending in one place: flights, stays, activities, and the ground legs between them, in order and in local time. It also does the sums travellers do by hand: what a trip cost across currencies, what each point got you on an award booking, your Schengen days, and the countries you’ve been to. Nothing today. SirTripsALot isn’t open to the public yet, nobody is being charged, and there’s no card on file. When there’s a price, we’ll say so here before it applies.

The web app works in any modern browser, and the iPhone app is in testing through Apple’s TestFlight. Both share one account and one set of trips. Android is next once we polish the iPhone version.

Any mix of these:

• Connect your mailbox. Gmail or Outlook, read-only, with your permission. SirTripsALot finds booking confirmations and files them.
• Forward an email to plans@sirtripsalot.com, from the address you sign in with or one you’ve confirmed.
• Share or upload a screenshot of a booking, or share an email from your iPhone’s share sheet.
• Paste the text of a confirmation, and check the preview before anything is filed.
• Type it in, for the booking that never sent an email.

No. Everything else works without it, and you can disconnect at any time. Reading stops the moment you do.

Forward it from an address SirTripsALot knows is yours: the one you sign in with, or one you’ve added and confirmed in Settings. Mail from addresses we don’t recognize is ignored, so nobody else can add to your trips. If it came from your address but your email provider couldn’t confirm that, we’ll email you at your sign-in address with a private address to use instead.

iOS puts newly installed apps under More. Open the share sheet, scroll the app row to the end, tap More, then tap Edit and add SirTripsALot to your favorites.

Links opened inside the Gmail app open in Gmail’s own browser first. You’ll see the website, then a prompt to open SirTripsALot. Tap Open and you’re signed in. Links opened from Apple Mail go straight to the app.

Go to Inbox and find the booking in the Already handled list. Choose Move and pick the right trip, or New trip from this booking. If it isn’t travel at all, such as a dinner reservation or a points statement, choose Not travel. We’ll take it off and leave that sender out of your trips from then on.

Each booking is shown in the time zone where it happens. When a confirmation doesn’t say which zone, we use the home time zone on your profile, so check it in Settings → Home timezone. If the app and your calendar disagree, please tell us: that usually means the stored zone is wrong.

On the web, every trip page has a Why isn’t something here? link. It shows what we read, what we filed, and what we skipped.

Yes. From two days before your flight until a few hours after you land, the flight card shows what the airline and airport report: whether it’s on time, delayed, or cancelled; the new times if it’s delayed; the terminal and gate, including a gate change; and the baggage carousel once you’ve landed. It checks again whenever you open the flight, and shows how long ago it last checked. Some airlines and airports publish less than others, so a detail can be missing on some flights. The airline’s own app is still the final word at the gate.

On your iPhone, on your travel day, your flight sits on the Lock Screen from about four hours before departure until about half an hour after you land, and updates as the airline posts the terminal and gate. If you allow notifications, SirTripsALot also sends a note about three hours before you fly when the airline says you’re on time, and, on your iPhone, a reminder to write up your trip debrief notes once you’re home, if you haven’t already, so you remember what you liked and what you didn’t like. What we can tell you depends on what the airline and airport publish, so keep your airline’s app to hand on the day.

Yes, as a subscription: one feed URL per account that Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook can subscribe to. It updates on its own, on whatever schedule your calendar app chooses — which is sometimes slower than you would like, and is not something SirTripsALot controls.

Yes. Each trip can make a read-only link, off until you ask for it, and you can replace or stop it at any time. The shared page leaves out confirmation codes, prices, other travelers’ names, and documents. You can also choose whether to share all trip details or just the major items like flights and hotel stays.

Yes. Photograph a receipt and SirTripsALot fills in the expense, with the amount, currency, date, and the business’s name, for you to check before it’s saved. You can keep the photo with the expense or let it go. Scanning needs a connection.

You add what the award would have cost in cash. SirTripsALot subtracts the taxes and fees you paid, then divides by the points you used.

Forecasts reach about 16 days ahead. After that we show nothing rather than a guess.

Yes, every trip’s itinerary is kept on your phone, so your bookings, times, addresses, and confirmation codes are readily available. Once you opt to download your passport and visas, these and other documents can be opened at the border or wherever you need them, even with no signal. Anything you add or change offline is saved and sent when you’re back online.

Anything you want. Common documents would include your passport, visas, and arrival forms, with their photos. They’re stored privately and open on your iPhone behind Face ID. SirTripsALot warns you when your passport will be too close to expiry for a booked trip, and shows a visa’s dates on the trip it covers.

SirTripsALot counts your days in the Schengen area from your bookings and shows the whole 180-day window, so you can see which stay would take you over and try other dates. EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens have no limit, and the app knows that once your citizenship is on record. It’s an estimate from your bookings, not immigration advice.

For each country on your trip, Before you go lists what it asks of visitors: visas and travel authorizations, arrival cards, and its passport rules. Each line comes from official sources, shows the date we last checked, and links to where you file. Coverage is widest for U.S. citizens and growing for other passports. It never says whether you’ll be let in; the airline and the border officer decide that.

Your countries, on a map: every country and territory you’ve been to, counted from your stays and flights as well as any you enter manually from the days before you started using SirTripsALot.

Ask Siri what’s next on your trip, or log an expense by voice. It’s in the current TestFlight build and still in testing. Siri needs Apple’s Shortcuts app on your iPhone. In one hosted database where each account is walled off from the others, and in private file storage that makes a short-lived link only when you open a document. For a copy of your data or a correction, email privacy@sirtripsalot.com.

On the web: Settings → Account → Delete my account. On iPhone: the foot of Settings. It removes your bookings, documents, and files at once, and it can’t be undone. There’s no “contact us to delete” step.
