Support
Last updated 18 September 2026.
SirTripsALot is a small product with one person behind it, so support is an email address rather than a ticket system. Write to hello@meridiantravelpro.com and a person reads it. Before you do, the answer may be below — most of these are things that look like faults and are not.
When you write, say this
It saves a round trip, and one of these is almost always the difference between a guess and a fix.
- The email address you sign in with, so the account can be found.
- Which trip, and which booking on it.
- What you expected to see, and what you saw instead.
- Web or phone, and roughly when.
Do not send passwords, card numbers or passport scans. Nobody here will ever ask for them, and a support mailbox is the wrong place for any of the three.
Things that surprise people
A forwarded booking never arrived
Bookings are forwarded to plans@meridiantravelpro.com, and that address is shared by every traveler, so SirTripsALot has to work out whose booking it is from who sent it. Two things have to be true. It must come from an address SirTripsALot has confirmed is yours — the one you sign in with, or one you have added and confirmed in Settings — and your mail provider must sign it in a way the receiving end can check. Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail all do the second part on their own.
If the sender does not match an account, nothing is filed and nothing is replied to — the alternative is a service that answers strangers. If the sender matches but cannot be authenticated, the account gets a note saying so, with a private address to use instead.
SirTripsALot is not in the iOS share sheet
It is, but under More until you put it in the row. Open the share sheet, scroll the app row to the end, tap More, then drag SirTripsALot up the list or tap Edit and add it. This is how iOS treats every newly installed app, and there is nothing SirTripsALot can do from its side.
A sign-in link opened a browser instead of the app
Tapping a magic link inside Gmail opens it in Gmail's own browser, and Apple does not let a link opened that way hand straight over to an app. You will see the website first and then a prompt asking whether to open SirTripsALot; say yes and you are signed in. Opening the same link from Apple Mail goes straight to the app.
A booking landed on the wrong trip
SirTripsALot decides which trip a booking belongs to from its dates and your home airport. Something booked near home, a few days before you leave, used to be pulled into the upcoming trip and could drag the trip's start date backwards with it. That rule was tightened on 18 September 2026. A booking on the wrong trip is moved from the Mail page: find it in the handled list and choose Moveand the trip it belongs to, or New trip from this booking if the trip does not exist yet. If it is not travel at all — a dinner near home, a points statement — choose Not travel, which takes it off and keeps that sender out of your trips from then on.
A time is wrong by a few hours
Every booking is stored with the time zone it happens in, and shown in that zone. When a confirmation does not state one, SirTripsALot falls back to the home time zone on your profile — so if that is unset or wrong, times on hand-typed and forwarded bookings can drift. Set it in Settings, under Home timezone. In the calendar feed the same booking is converted to your own calendar's clock, which is why a disagreement between the app and your calendar is one to report: it usually means the stored zone is wrong, not the display.
The forecast stops partway through a trip
Forecasts run about sixteen days out. Days past that carry no weather rather than a seasonal average dressed up as one, which is deliberate.
Something is missing from a trip and you cannot see why
Every trip page has a “Why isn't something here?” line that says what was read, what was filed, and what was skipped. Start there — it answers this more precisely than support can.
Your data
You can delete your account, and everything under it, yourself: Settings, then Signing in, then Delete my account. It removes your bookings, your documents and their files, and it cannot be undone. For anything else about data — a copy, a correction, a question about what is held — write to privacy@meridiantravelpro.com, and read the privacy policy first: it is written from the build and names every kind of data the app holds.
